Pedicabs are pedal powered devices designed to carry two or three passengers in addition to the driver.
They are becoming common in urban spaces. On the East Coast they are found in New York, Washington, and Boston. It was in Boston where Bob took a tour of the Little Italy area. This inspired him to consider using pedicabs in Virginia’s Historic Triangle area, which includes Jamestown, Yorktown and Williamsburg.
Our pedicabs are produced by Main Street Pedicabs, who are considered the leading and most advanced pedicab manufacturer in the US.
Riding in the back of a pedicab provides a very unique perspective on the world. It allows for travel at a pace similar to being on foot, outside in the sun and fresh air. It allows the traveler to set back and look around to take in the scenery.
